Find someone's location When someone shares their location with you, you can find them on your map. Location sharing. Tap the profile of the person you want to find. Refresh.

On your computer, open Google Maps. Type an address or name of a place. To filter your search results, use the drop-down menus below the search box.

Settings and privacy. Under “Location settings,” check that it says “Location is on.” If it doesn't, tap Location is off and turn on Location. Under “Location settings,” check that it says “Location History is on.” If it doesn't, tap Location History is off and turn on Location History.
